Holy Easter Sunday

April 1

8:00 am Morning Service

Blessing of the Four Corners of the World (Antasdan)

10:00 am Divine Liturgy

Easter Sunday celebrates the joy of the Resurrection and the promise of salvation for all humanity. Armenian Christians around the world exchange the Easter greeting: Krisdos haryav ee merelotz! Orhnyal eh harootiunun Krisdosee! Christ is risen from the dead! Blessed is the resurrection of Christ!

For each of us, Easter is a time of personal renewal, rebirth and enhancement of our covenant with God. We can feel this renewal in our hearts and souls, and we see it in the world around us, with the blossoming of flowers, trees and green grass symbolizing the beginning of a new cycle of life.

Please Note: In accordance with church canons, Requiem Service (Hokehankisd) will not be held on Easter Sunday, as it is a major feast day in the Armenian Church.  Requests for Requiem Service may be made for Sunday, April 8, 2018.

Easter Offering – Yughakin: Remember your Church during this holy season.  Your Easter offering demonstrates your faith and serves the needs of the House of God.  With your help, the church will continue to grow and serve our faithful.  Click here to make your Easter Yughakin contribution online.
