Pilgrims Arrive in Armenia

Our 5th Pilgrimage to Armenia is underway!

We spent our first full day touring Yerevan, visiting the National History Museum, Mayr Hayasdan (Mother Armenia) and the Armenian Genocide Memorial (Tsitsernakapert). In the evening, we enjoyed a traditional Armenian welcome dinner with live music and dancing.

Day 2 took us south of Yerevan - first to Khor Virab, where we saw the pit of St. Gregory the Illuminator, and took in the close-up view of Mt. Ararat. After a brief visit to the Areni Wine Factory for a wine tasting session, we continued on our way to the breathtaking Noravank monastery complex, hidden in the rocky mountain terrain.
