On Sunday, November 23rd, St. James parishioners kicked off the holiday season with the annual Family Day Thanksgiving Dinner, hosted by the ACYOA. Following Divine Liturgy, parishioners and friends enjoyed a full turkey dinner, served by the ACYOA members. Prior to the dinner, Fr. Arakel led the group in prayer, giving thanks to God for all our blessings that come from above. Additionally, all the donations collected during the November Food Drive were gathered and prepared for delivery to the food pantry at St. Patrick's Church in Watertown. Earlier in the day, the Sunday School conducted its annual Open House, where parents were invited to join their children's Sunday School classes. It was a true 'family day' as parishioners gathered together to celebrate Our Lord's blessings as we prepared for Thanksgiving.
