Updates from Monday! Our pilgrims began their day with a morning prayer, before heading to the Temple Mount to see the Dome of the Rock. From there, they walked the Via Dolorosa (way of the cross) to visit each of the station of the cross. At the Church of St. Anna (the mother of Holy Mary) they prayed and sang the Lord's Prayer and Der Voghormia together as a group. It was a very emotional and moving experience for the pilgrims.
Later on, the group visited the most holy sites in Christendom in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre - the site of the crucifixion on top of Golgotha, the Stone of Unction where the body of Christ was laid for anointing after the crucifixion, and the tomb of Christ.
