Making Lent Meaningful

How does Lent change us? What can we do to make it more meaningful?

Great Lent is meant to be a meaningful and rewarding journey.  It is a time to look inward, to change our routines, and remove ourselves from the distracting noises of the world.
It is a time to focus on God.

Throughout Lent we are presented with opportunities to pray, attend Church, read the Bible, fast, simplify our lives, and give to charity.  Many people decide to “give up” things for Lent to help them remember that Jesus gave His life for us, but you can also “take on” doing good things, just like Jesus did.

Take a break during each week of Lent to discuss and reflect upon how our Lenten journey can bring us closer to God.

This is a discussion series for ACYOA Seniors that will take place each Thursday during Lent, from 7:30-8:30.  Light refreshments will be provided.

Location will alternate between the St. James Youth Room and Holy Trinity Youth Room (145 Brattle Street, Cambridge, MA).  Please see schedule below:
