The mission of the Cultural Committee is to promote Armenian culture for the Armenian community and the greater Boston area. Formed in 1970, the committee works to organize literary evenings, musical concerts and exhibitions of rare books and antiquities.
The Cultural Committee meets as needed to plan and organize events.
Past events organized by the Committee have included a wonderful musical concert by the Dudukner Ensemble, featuring ten talented musicians who toured the East Coast. On the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the first printed Armenian book, the committee set up an exhibition of close to 30 Armenian rare books. A large crowd of all ages viewed the books and enjoyed the reception that followed in the Charles Mosesian Cultural and Youth Center Keljik Hall.
